Ignorance, Arrogance and Congress

Ignorance, Arrogance and Congress

WASHINGTON — Democratic Rep. Diana DeGette drew national criticism Wednesday for remarks made at a public forum in which she said banning high-capacity in ammunition magazines would be effective in reducing gun violence because "the bullets will have been shot and there won't be any more available."

Democratic Rep (CO) showed her extensive knowledge of firearms yesterday concerning magazines, clips, etc. when she was discussing potential gun control legislation.  Remember, this esteemed? member of Congress (Guardians of our Freedom) will be instrumental in the drafting future gun  laws.  She is a rabid supporter of limiting/outlawing high capacity magazines for handguns and "assault" weapons. (Dear Diana, they are all assault weapons in the hands of some - get your facts straight before you open your mouth.)  You made a complete ass out of yourself and actually hurt the very cause you are trying to push through the House of Representatives.  The pro gun crowd is ecstatic over your comments.  As with most of the anti-gun talk being tossed around by the libtards you take the opportunity to put in place more unenforceable laws that do nothing to ensure the safety of it's citizens.  Wanna' do something really great?  Get off gun control and work solve the many budget problems that threaten the safety and security of this country.  As with many on Capitol Hill the only primary objectives seem to be:

In the public eye on emotional issues
Lip service to your liberal/socialist constituents
Getting reelected

BTW:  The definition of Gun Control is the ability to consistently hit your target  under stress.
 You really missed yours.

OBAMA Admin Establishing Legal Framework to Arrest Sheriffs

Article from Oath Keepers

Federal Framework Being Set Up To Arrest Sheriffs

This article was written by Ken Jorgustin and originally published at Modern Survival Blog
Colorado, and apparently Texas (next) are being targeted with an attempt to set up a federal authority framework that will enable Secret Service agents (not just those guarding the president), and others of the U.S. Secret Service including uniformed division officers, physical security technicians and specialists, and other ‘special officers’, to arrest and remove an elected sheriff for refusing to enforce the law (or anyone breaking the law).
The bills being introduced defines law as including any rule, regulation, executive order, court order, statute or constitutional provision.
Why are they doing this? Here’s why…

It would establish federal authority police powers in a State, enabling an enforcement arm reporting directly to the president (Secret Service).

It would enable the president / executive branch to theoretically override the actions and preventative measures that are now being taken by many States throughout the country who are trying to preserve 2nd Amendment gun rights and who are prohibiting the enforcement of unconstitutional law passed by Congress or pushed by executive order.
As some of you may know, a growing list of sheriffs (more than 340 so far) across the country have expressed that they will not enforce a Washington mandate that clearly violates the Second Amendment.
Many State laws to preserve gun rights are gaining momentum. States include Montana, Ohio, Kentucky, Idaho, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, Michigan, Utah, and New Mexico.
However, in Colorado, Senate Bill SB-13-013 has evidently just passed, and is now ready to be signed by the governor, giving police powers and arrest authority to the federal/executive branch of government (Secret Service) within the State. In Texas a similar bill has just been introduced in the State legislature.
The president and vice-president Biden have been actively pursuing state legislatures and pushing for passage of the bills. Obama is scheduled to visit Colorado in just a few days. “Colorado is a pawn for the Obama-Biden plan,” and then on to the next… at least those that won’t fall into line.
It is a full court press by the federal government to empower themselves even further by inserting themselves as police authority within the state, to eliminate opposition.

Drones for domestic control?

Drones for Domestic Control?

After what I've seen from the current administration I'm not at all warm and fuzzy with the concept of using drones to eliminate enemies of the state.  Who would make the decision, what evidence would the decision be made upon and most importantly (post Benghazi fiasco) I do not have any confidence in any decision this administration will make concerning these matters.  What about the Constitutional protections that apply to all citizens of the country as well as those that are guests?  Once that veil of protection is broken who is an enemy? The picture gets real cloudy.  These decisions will be made behind closed doors without any type of legal review whatsoever and accountability will disappear under the guise of National Security.

I won't even discuss collateral damage which will most assuredly occur.

Hugo Chavez (Sean Penn's hero)
Wednesday March 6, 2013

I wondered how long it would be until this guy passed on - the wait is, at last, over.  The lack of news associated with his illness was a giveaway that his time was not far off.  Loved by some and despised by others Chavez seemed hellbent on irritating as many people as possible, especially those of us that are Americans.  He was never a real threat to the U.S. and his political antics directed at American activities and attitudes were often laughed at by those same recipients of his silly attacks.   But his real issue was jealousy of the prosperity of the American people in general.  He was in reality nothing more than a petty, wannabe, little South American dictator.  His friendship with Uncle Fidel showed his true character. What particularly caught my attention as I watched the news early this morning was the mournful crap coming from Sean Penn - that mental giant and moral guide.  (CBS News)  I would venture to say his response is typical for the large numbers of Hollywood elite (self-proclaimed) that are so far left and out of touch with reality their reasoning is really one of arrogance and simple stupidity.  They don't understand that you can show love and kindness to those that would destroy our country and still take one between the eyes from the very people they admire.  Mr. Penn is not the only jackass out there:  Michael Moore, Oliver Stone, Dennis Rodman (suckin' up to that little pimp in N. Korea) to name a few more.
